Bogey is from Anchorage, Alaska where he was found having fallen out of his nest after trying to fly too soon in his life. He was saved and nurtured back to health, though injuries to his wing prevent him from being reintroduced to the wild. Bogey has been with the Aquarium since 2001, and has now fully grown to an adult eagle. (Bogey got his name from the place he was found, a golf course! )

Bogey
Bogey is from Anchorage, Alaska where he was found having fallen out of his nest after trying to fly too soon in his life. Bogey has been with the Aquarium since 2001, and has now fully grown to an adult eagle. (Bogey got his name from the place he was found, a golf course! )

Could you have zoomed in even tighter or was he a good distance away?
I probably could have zoomed in tighter, he was only about 25 ft away. The picture is a little blurry. I had to focus manually to get past the caging and it's hard to see on that little viewer screen how clear it it.
