I took these pictures at the local conservatory with my new camera (Nikon D50) I set the Daffodil picture as the wallpaper on my desktop. I swear it looks like I can reach out and touch the flowers.
Cop in even tirghter to get rid of the white at the top and bottom left corner. It's ok if the yellwo flowers spill out past the edge of the picture. It will give the viewer a sense of being lost in a sea of endless yellow flowers.
http://punkysnapshots.blogspot.com/2006/04/sea-of-red.html is an example of that. Now your photos works better than mine (the contrasting yellow and green is what makes it work) - but perhaps you'll see what I mean - with nothing bot the flowers filling the frame the viewer is left with the question "Just how large is this expanse of flowers?" See what I mean about the question being left for the viewer being important?
